We beschikken over verschillende CNC-gestuurde draaibanken en carrouseldraaibanken. Met de aanwezige draaibanken kunnen we bij AFMI allerlei soorten materiaal verspanen, zoals staal, RVS en allerlei non-ferro legeringen. Tevens beschikken wij over een draai/freescombinatie.

- Maximum dimensions of CNC vertical boring and turning: ø2,500 x 1,500 mm
What is turning?
Turning is a technique for machining metal jobs. We place the job in a lathe clamp. The clamp rotates at high speed. A cutter is then applied to the job lengthways (axial) and transversal (radial). By adjusting various settings of the machine, such as speed and cutter type, we determine the shape of the end product.
